Furthermore, in a newly-created position, Reiner Beutel joins Robert Bosch Tool Corporation as its chairman, president and chief executive officer and is responsible for all Bosch North American power tool, accessory and lawn and garden business units. At the same time, Beutel was appointed to the Germany-based board of management of the Bosch Power Tools Division for Robert Bosch GmbH.
This change occurs at a time when Robert Bosch Tool Corporation is reinforcing its commitment as a leading supplier and vendor partner within the industry. Although very few changes will affect existing business relationships, this formation serves to position Bosch as a stronger, well-established leader throughout the construction and home improvement industries. Robert Bosch Tool Corporation is committed to bringing to market superior products and excellent customer service across all brands and, therefore, continuing its growth throughout 2003 and beyond.
“This new company allows us to better serve our customers and refocus our commitment to the North American marketplace,” said Beutel. “By centralizing our resources and focusing our efforts on all of North America, we’re perfectly poised to bring the next level of products and service to the industry.”
As president and CEO of the senior executive team, Beutel will be responsible for all aspects of the North American tool market. His team will include the leaders of the four newly-created business units as well as the functions that are shared across all units –sales, finance and administration.
In addition to Beutel, the members of the team include:
