Wounded Soldier’s House Saved

During combat in Iraq, Spec. Frank Byers sustained injuries to his back that sent him home to his family. Because of reduced income due to deployment and the additional expense from Spec. Byers’ medical needs, several home mortgage payments could not be met. The lender threatened foreclosure. A friend told Spec. Byers about Unmet Needs, who intervened to have the loan restructured. A grateful Spec. Byers commented that, “thanks to...(Unmet Needs) we were able to keep our house."
